The sensory forest—a glade of touch

In the forest you can find a many different textures and structures that will provide you with a variety of sensory experiences. Walking on sand will feel different from walking on cool, damp soil or from walking on soft mulch. Be careful though—walking on pine cones can be painful. However, walking on spruce cones, which have a more delicate elongated structure and cigar-like shape, will be much more pleasant. You can find all of this in our sensory clearing.

If you don’t want to walk on the ground with your bare feet, we have another suggestion for you—a space to build structures using wooden blocks, which we have prepared from boughs and branches. Use them to build anything your imagination wishes!

The good news doesn’t end there—on each walk you take around the forest you can discover more new forest structures—bark, soft and prickly needles, soft and fuzzy leaves and so much more. Be vigilant, the forest can surprise you in many ways!
