Get to know the trees in our forest

The greenery in the Las Odkrywców is arranged in a decorative manner, with deciduous trees being the predominant kind of plant, which mimics the greenery of a park, and in the long run, of a forest. This results from the function that the land used to carry out, as well as its communication system.

The following tree species are most prevalent in the Las Odkrywców: Japanese poplar, gray poplar, European and small-leaved lime, European maple, red oak and common oak, willow, sycamore maple and the silver birch. In terms of conifers, we note the presence of the Scots pine and the European larch.

The tree population is mainly comprised of middle-aged trees, about 40–50 years old, sometimes quite large in size. A perfect example of this is the Japanese poplar.
